CM-6 Funding Salaries From Grants

Effective this date, all faculty of the LSU Health Sciences Center, when applying for grant funds and where permitted by the granting agency, in consultation with his/her department head, will place an appropriate percentage of their salary on the grant based on time and effort related to the research proposal. Funds made available as a result of this policy will be distributed based on plans to be developed by each school. The Dean of each school will be responsible for developing, reviewing, and approving such plans. These plans are also subject to review by the Chancellor's Office.
