Louisiana State University Department of Psychiatry Psychopharmacology Research Clinic is based at the Louisiana State University School of Medicine, which is an academic health science center that provides services for all Louisiana residents. The goals of the Psychiatry Psychopharmacology Research clinic are to provide patients with appropriate and compassionate care, and to expand medical knowledge through research both in the lab and in a clinical setting. We are located in Shreveport, Louisiana which is in the northwest corner of Louisiana, and is well situated to recruit patients from the diverse demographic groups found in North Louisiana as well as Arkansas and Texas. LSUMC-S is one of the largest teaching hospitals in the South, and the 498-bed facility is also the site of revolutionary medical research.
