Hospital Education and Standards Department!

In alliance with the mission of the University Hospital, our vision is to promote and support an environment of continuing education by offering training to healthcare professionals employed at LSUHSC-S and the surrounding communities. We provide inservices, clinical competencies and seminars, in addition to basic and advanced life support courses according to the American Heart Association guidelines.

Most of our courses are open to healthcare professionals in the community. We also offer Basic Life Support for Family and Friends to the general public. To visit our course calendar click here.
